CACD and its partner, Berkha Africa has launched its flagship African Youth Leadership Development Programme (AYLDP) – a continental programme designed to empower young Africans with the practical skills, ethical grounding, and visionary mindset needed to lead change within their communities and across diverse sectors.

At the heart of AYLDP are five strategic pillars:

• Mindset transformation
• ⁠leadership capacity building
• Coaching and mentorship
• Pan-African networking, and
• Civic innovation for impact

Our first event under AYLDP is the Youth Coaching and Mentoring Lab in Lagos, Nigeria.
Participants: 28 students from three heritage secondary schools in Lagos – CMS Grammar School, Methodist Girls High School and Eko Boys Grammar School.

• November 1st 2025- OnlineOrientation Programme for 28 ⁠
• November (2025)-Feb (2026): Bi-monthly mentoring and coaching sessions
• ⁠Feb 25-27, 2026: 3-day bootcamp in Lagos, Nigeria
