Komlan Avoulete is a Sahel researcher, geopolitical analyst, and freelance writer. His expertise lies in African affairs, with a focus on US-Africa relations, France-Africa relations, and West African terrorism.

Komlan received his M.A. in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University and B.S. in Sociology from the University of Lomé (Togo).
